CCSAO Deputy Bureau Chief Throws Out First Pitch at Cubs vs. Reds Game
CHICAGO — Representing the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, veteran prosecutor David Williams, Deputy Chief of the Multi-Jurisdiction Bureau (MJB), threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field on Wednesday, May 6, ahead of the Chicago Cubs’ matchup against a division rival.
The Chicago Cubs invited Williams to participate in the pregame ceremony in recognition of Jewish American Heritage Month. In his role as Deputy Chief of the MJB, Williams leads key efforts to prosecute hate crimes and works closely with community partners and law enforcement agencies across Cook County to support their investigations.
Cook County State’s Attorney Eileen O’Neill Burke established the Multi-Jurisdiction Bureau to handle complex cases that cross traditional law enforcement boundaries.
